Score with understanding.

Two words meet and become one. Once a child sees why the sounds join, sandhi stops being a rule to fear and becomes something they can do on their own.

Is your child facing these difficulties?

Most parents who write to me describe the same few things.

  • Finds Sanskrit confusing and difficult
  • Memorises rules without understanding them
  • Forgets grammar during the exam
  • Loses easy marks to avoidable mistakes
  • Feels anxious before a Sanskrit test
  • Believes Sanskrit is the hardest subject
It is not your child's fault. Most students are asked to memorise Sanskrit before they are helped to understand it. Change that one thing, and the subject changes for them.

Understanding first. Memorising second.

Every concept is taught through something a child already knows, so the grammar has somewhere to sit.

Stories and everyday objects
New words arrive through conversation and things around the child.
Pictures and actions
Body language and images make meaning clear before translation.
Songs and simple memory techniques
Rules stay in the mind because they are tied to rhythm and pattern.
Questions the child answers
Students discover the rule themselves instead of being handed it.

Sanskrit is not difficult. It has simply been taught the wrong way around: rules first, meaning later.

Sanskrit Coach for Classes 5 to 10

Many students see Sanskrit as a difficult subject full of rules to memorise. I believe it does not have to be that way. In my classes children first understand a concept through conversation, pictures and everyday examples. Once they understand, remembering the grammar becomes much easier, and confidence grows on its own.

I am Sanskrit Bharati trained and I practise the Bhagavad Gita in my own life. Before teaching, I worked as an IT professional. As the mother of a ten year old who has memorised the Gita, I have seen at home how learning Sanskrit builds concentration, discipline and quiet confidence. That is what I want for every child I teach.
